DIGITAL: Mo. 3.7 ab 20h Comicstammtisch mit / Comics Meetup with Dirk Rehm

Im Juli geht es auf dem digitalen Comicstammtisch der Comicbibliothek Renate um Verlagswesen. Mentor ist der Verleger Dirk Rehm. 1991 hat er den Reprodukt Comic-Verlag gegründet, beginnend mit Übersetzungen US-amerikanischer Alternative-Comics. Heute ist Reprodukt als unabhängiger Verlag für AutorInnencomics bekannt, sei es aus der deutschen Comicszene oder aus dem internationalen Comicmarkt. Der Verlag veröffentlicht etwa 40 Titel im Jahr, davon ungefähr ein Drittel Comics für Kinder. Dirk Rehm ist für das Programm verantwortlich, wobei er ab und zu auch Lettering übernimmt.

In July, the digital comics meetup of the Comic Library Renate is all about the publishing sector. The mentor is Dirk Rehm. He founded the German publishing house Reprodukt in 1991, starting with translations of US alternative comics. Today, Reprodukt is known as an independent publisher of authoral comics, whether from the German comics scene or the international comics market. Reprodukt publishes about 40 titles a year, about a third of which are comics for children. Dirk Rehm is responsible for the programme, occasionally taking on lettering tasks.

Please send an email with the subject line 'Stammtisch' to the meetup coordinator Augusto (augusto [dot] paim [at] gmail [dot] com), he will send you the meeting link. Include in the email if you want to show some project to receive feedback and what topics are of interest to you.
