DIGITAL: Mo. 4.4 ab 20h Comicstammtisch mit / Comicmeeting with David von Bassewitz

Der April macht was er will, und er will David von Bassewitz als Mentor unseres digitalen Stammtisches haben. Geboren wurde er 1975 in Gießen, zwei anderhalb Jahrzehnte später hat er ein Studium der Film- und Medienwissenschaft an der Universität Erlangen und der Illustration an der Fachhochschule Würzburg hinter sich. Mit dem Szenaristen Peer Meter schaffte er 2014 die Graphic Novel »Vasmers Bruder« über den Serienmörder und Kannibalen Karl Denke. David von Bassewitz hat zudem als Comiczeichner an der multimedialen journalistischen Website Black.Light Project über die westafrikanischen Kriege der letzten 20 Jahre mitgewirkt und illustrierte für Publikationen wie Die Zeit, stern und BBC History Magazine.

Dieses Onlinetreffen wird nicht aufgenommen oder gestreamt, es ist nur für euch angemeldete Comic-Künstler*Innen.

April come she will, ans she will bring with her David von Bassewitz to be the mentor of our monthly digital Comic Meetup. Born in 1975 in Giessen, two and a half decades later he had finished his studies on film and media at the University of Erlangen and illustration at the University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg. In 2014, he created with scenarist Peer Meter the graphic novel "Vasmer's Brother" about the serial killer and cannibal Karl Denke. Besides, David von Bassewitz has contributed as a comic artist to the multimedia journalistic website Black.Light Project about the West African wars of the last 20 years, and has illustrated for publications such as Die Zeit, stern and BBC History Magazine.

Add to the email what you will be showing and what topics are of interest to you. You don't have to show your face in the call if you don't want to, but have your sketches or comics ready in digital form on your computer to be able to get feedback from other comic artists and from the mentor. This online meeting will not be recorded or broadcast publicly, it is only for you artists who are participating.
