DIGITAL: Mo. 3.10 ab 20h Comicstammtisch mit / Comic Meetup with Jens Harder

Im Oktober rasen wir durch das Universum mit unserem Mentor Jens Harder. Er wurde 1970 geboren und gründete 1999 zusammen mit StudienkollegInnen der Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee die Comicgruppe Monogatari. Mit »Leviathan«, seinem ersten eigenen Buch, erhielt er beim Comic-Salon Erlangen 2004 den Max-und-Moritz-Preis für die "beste deutschsprachige Comic-Publikation". Der Band »Alpha ...directions« – zuerst beim französischen Verlag Actes Sud publiziert und mit dem Prix de l’audace beim Festival de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême prämiert – kam 2010 bei Carlsen heraus und wurde im selben Jahr ebenfalls mit dem Max und Moritz-Preis ausgezeichnet. Vier Jahre arbeitete Jens Harder an »Beta ...civilisations volume I«, dem zweiten Teil seiner auf vier Bände angelegten Evolutionsgeschichte. »Beta ...civilisations volume II« ist frisch erschienen. Jens Harder arbeitet als freier Grafiker und Illustrator in Berlin.

Ihr müsst euer Gesicht nicht zeigen, wenn ihr nicht wollt, aber es wäre wichtig, dass ihr eure Zeichnungen/Entwürfe/Storyboards/Probeseiten DIGITAL bereit habt, als digitale Zeichnungen oder abfotografiert/gescannt. Dieses Onlinetreffen wird nicht aufgenommen oder gestreamt, es ist nur für euch angemeldete Comic-Künstler*Innen.

In October, we will travel through the universe with our mentor Jens Harder. He was born in 1970 and founded the comic group Monogatari in 1999 together with fellow students at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art. With "Leviathan", his first own book, he received the Max-und-Moritz-Preis for the "best German-language comic publication" at the Comic-Salon Erlangen 2004. The volume "Alpha ...directions" - first published by the French publisher Actes Sud and awarded the Prix de l'audace at the Festival de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême - was published by Carlsen in 2010 and was also awarded the Max und Moritz Prize in the same year. Jens Harder spent four years working on "Beta ...civilisations volume I," the second part of his four-volume evolutionary history. "Beta ...civilisations volume II" has just been published. Jens Harder works as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator in Berlin.

Add to the email what you will be showing and what topics are of interest to you. You don't have to show your face in the call if you don't want to, but have your sketches or comics ready in digital form on your computer to be able to get feedback from other comic artists and from the mentor. This online meeting will not be recorded or broadcast publicly, it is only for you artists who are participating.
