DIGITAL: Mo. 6.2 ab 20h Comicstammtisch mit / Comics Meetup with Michael Groenewald

Der Februar-Mentor unseres digitalen Comicstammtischs ist einer, der viel für die Comicszene macht, meistens aber fast unsichtbar im Hintergrund bleibt: Michael Groenewald ist Comic-Lektor, hat bei Verlagen wie Reprodukt und Carlsen gearbeitet und ist nun selbst Verleger des von ihm mitgegründeten Kindercomic-Verlags Kibitz. Außerdem hat er die Entwicklung der Comics von Größen der Comicszene in enger Zusammenarbeit mit ihnen betreut, wie Reinhard Kleist, Uli Oesterle, Barbara Yelin, Isabel Kreitz, Nadia Budde, Matthias Lehmann, David von Bassewitz und Jennifer Daniel.

bitte schickt eine kurze EMAIL mit dem Betreff 'Stammtisch' an augusto [dot] paim [at] gmail [dot] com und schreibt kurz dazu, was ihr vorzeigen wollt bzw. welche Themen-Bereiche euch interessieren. Stammtisch-Koordinator Augusto Paim sendet euch am 6.2. den Link zum Treffen zu. Ihr müsst euer Gesicht nicht zeigen, wenn ihr nicht wollt, aber es wäre wichtig, dass ihr eure Zeichnungen/Entwürfe/Storyboards/Probeseiten DIGITAL bereit habt, als digitale Zeichnungen oder abfotografiert/gescannt. Dieses Onlinetreffen wird nicht aufgenommen oder gestreamt, es ist nur für euch angemeldete Comic-Künstler*Innen.

The mentor of our digital comics meetup in February is someone who does a lot for the comics scene, but mostly remains almost invisible in the background: Michael Groenewald is a comic editor, has worked for publishers such as Reprodukt and Carlsen, and is now himself the publisher of the children's publishing house Kibitz, which he co-founded. He also oversaw the development of comics by big names in the comics scene in close collaboration with them, such as Reinhard Kleist, Uli Oesterle, Barbara Yelin, Isabel Kreitz, Nadia Budde, Matthias Lehmann, David von Bassewitz and Jennifer Daniel.

please send an email with the subject line 'Stammtisch' to the Meetup coordinator Augusto (augusto [dot] paim [at] gmail [dot] com), he will send you the meeting link on the day. Add to the email what you will be showing and what topics are of interest to you. You don't have to show your face in the call if you don't want to, but have your sketches or comics ready in digital form on your computer to be able to get feedback from other comic artists and from the mentor. This online meeting will not be recorded or broadcast publicly, it is only for you artists who are participating.
