Mo. 4.3 ab 20h Comicstammtisch mit / Comics Meetup with Filip Kolek

Im März geht es im digitalen Stammtisch der Comicbibliothek Renate um etwas Neues: Unser Mentor Filip Kolek wird mit uns über Pressearbeit mit Comics austauschen, denn er ist Pressereferent für die Comicverlagslandschaft. Er wurde 1978 in der ehemaligen Tschechoslowakei geboren und kam mit 10 Jahren nach Deutschland. Nach einem Studium der Literatur- und Medienwissenschaften in Marburg und einem Praktikareigen bei u.a. Reprodukt und Panini, arbeitete er fünf Jahre als Redakteur und Pressesprecher für den süddeutschen Comic- und Romanverlag Cross Cult. 2012 machte er sich selbstständig und leitet seither die Presseabteilungen der Verlage Reprodukt, avant-verlag und Edition Moderne und betreut in regelmäßigen Abständen PR-Kampagnen für Verlage wie Splitter, Carlsen, Kibitz, Cross Cult und andere. Daneben übersieht er die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit für die verlagsübergreifenden Kooperationen GRATIS COMIC TAG und MANGA DAY und verantwortet den jährlichen Fachtag "Salon der grafischen Literatur" in Berlin.

In March, the digital meetup of the Comics Library Renate will deal with a new topic: our mentor Filip Kolek will talk to us about press work with comics, since he provides service as a press officer for comics publishing houses. He was born in 1978 in the former Czechoslovakia and came to Germany at the age of 10. After studying literature and media studies in Marburg and completing a series of internships at Reprodukt and Panini, among others, he worked for five years as an editor and press officer for the southern German comic and novel publisher Cross Cult. In 2012, he went freelance and has since managed the press departments of the publishers Reprodukt, avant-verlag and Edition Moderne and regularly takes care of PR campaigns for publishers such as Splitter, Carlsen, Kibitz, Cross Cult and others. He also supervises public relations for the events GRATIS COMIC TAG and MANGA DAY and is responsible for the annual "Salon of Graphic Literature" in Berlin.
