Renate stampfte: Catschmp. Das Rotationskreisrad fiepte in den höchsten Tönen, die Schläuche gurgelten und der Rüttlerrechen glitt rhythmisch über das noch weisse Papier. Irgendwo tropfte Öl, ihre Zahnräder grölten das Lied, während die Förderketten in die Tuschetanks tauchten. Ihre Lichte blinkten über den Regelknöpfen, Skalenaugen und Kippschaltern  und hinten kam das raus was Renate fabrizierte: Comics…

Renate stamped: Catschmp. The rotary wheel squeaked at the highest pitch, the hoses gurgled and the rattle comb slid rhythmically over the still white paper. Oil dripped somewhere, its gears bellowed the song as the conveyor chains plunged into the ink tanks. Its lights flashed over the control buttons, scale eyes and toggle switches, and at the back came out what Renate produced: comics...
