DIGITAL: Mo. 2.8. ab 20h Comicstammtisch mit / Comic meeting with Sarah Burrini

Im August machen wir wieder die Kombination von digitalem Stammtisch mit einem Treffen vor dem Laden in Berlin, so wie im Juli mit weitem Erfolg getest wurde. So findet die digitale Sitzung am Montag um 20 Uhr statt, und am Dienstag treffen sich die BerlinerInnen ab 19 Uhr an der Tucholskystr. 32. Die Mentorin für den digitalen Stammtisch der Comicbibliothek Renate ist diesmal Sarah Burrini. Sie arbeitet als freiberufliche Comiczeichnerin und Illustratorin in Köln. Sie veröffentlichte »Silly & Cone« im deutschen MAD-Magazin, entwickelte mehrere Kurzcomics für Anthologien und arbeitete als Animatorin für deutsche Kindersendungen wie »Die Sendung mit der Maus«. Von 2008 bis 2018 zeichnete und schrieb sie den Monatscomic für das Kindermagazin »Benni«. Seit 2009 zeichnet sie den semi-autobiographischen und absurden Webcomic »Das Leben ist kein Ponyhof«, für den sie u. a. 2018 mit dem Max und Moritz-Preis für den „besten deutschsprachigen Comic-Strip“ ausgezeichnet wurde. Sie gilt als eine der Pioniere des Formats Webcomic in Deutschland.

Ihr müsst euer Gesicht nicht zeigen, wenn ihr nicht wollt, aber es wäre wichtig, dass ihr eure Zeichnungen/Entwürfe/Storyboards/Probeseiten DIGITAL bereit habt, als digitale Zeichnungen oder abfotografiert/gescannt. Dieses Onlinetreffen wird nicht aufgenommen oder gestreamt, es ist nur für euch angemeldete Comic-Künstler*Innen.

In August, we are doing the combination of digital meeting with an encounter in front of our store in Berlin again, as it was successfully tested in July. Thus, the digital meeting will take place on Monday at 8 pm, and on Tuesday the Berliners will meet at the Tucholskystr. n° 32 from 7 pm on. This time, the mentor for the Renate's Comic Meeting Up is Sarah Burrini. She is a freelance illustrator and cartoonist living in Cologne, Germany. She published "Silly & Cone" in German MAD magazine, several short comics for anthologies and worked as an animator on German children’s shows like "Die Sendung mit der Maus" (The Show with the Mouse). She drew and wrote the monthly comic for the children’s magazine "Benni" from 2008 to 2018. Since 2009 she publishes her own semi-autobiographical webcomic "Life Ain’t No Pony Ranch" which won several awards in Germany. As a webcomic pioneer, she is a sought-after guest at panel discussions, podcasts and other media formats.

please send an email with the subject line 'Stammtisch' to the Meetup coordinator Augusto (augusto [dot] paim [at] gmail [dot] com), he will send you the meeting link on the day. Add to the email what you will be showing and what topics are of interest to you. You don't have to show your face in the call if you don't want to, but have your sketches or comics ready in digital form on your computer to be able to get feedback from other comic artists and from the mentor. This online meeting will not be recorded or broadcast publicly, it is only for you artists who are participating.
